Isometric project

This project consisted of producing an isometric drawing. The subject was open-ended, allowing us to develop our knowledge of Maya. I personally chose to represent the city of Liège in isometric form. I therefore tried to represent the city’s important elements with motherboard components, the main axes, the monuments, etc., while maintaining a very vivid color palette to evoke the vibrant aspect of a city.

Client requirement

The instructions being quite free, I was able to really choose the direction that interested me to produce an isometry that was both simple but full of small subtle touches that made the whole thing more complex.

Technologies utilisées

My process

I first tried to identify the important elements that I wanted to highlight, then I had to link these elements of the city of Liège to elements of a motherboard. So I tried to draw inspiration from these materials to have a rendering as close to reality as possible while keeping this unreal touch. All I needed was to define a color palette to arrive at the finished product.
